Ogres think that rocks are pillows.
Ogres comb their hair with spoons.
Ogres yawn so hard their cheeks
resemble green balloons.
‘Ogre Music” comes from banging pots
upon the floor.
Ogres only know one word at supper
and it’s “MORE!”
Ogres aren’t gorgeous
and they’re never very neat.
Some of them are grumpy,
and some of them are sweet.
But this is what I read about the ogres just today:
a little kid A-YAWNING scares an ogre far away!
